Taylor got out bright and early on the day that
RAGBRAI went from Jefferson to Ames. He drove up and parked in Ames and started heading towards the oncoming riders so that he could meet up with B & P and do the daily ride. Early meant rolling out of Ames about 5 a.m. or so.
He made it all of the way to close to Dana, so got pretty close to riding the full day with B & P.
The only disappointment? Not the good time with friends, not the ride, not the weather, not the brews....but instead not being able to find a suitable piece of pie! He saw pie, but nothing quite right. Beth says that his grandma has spoiled him. Good thing she is bringing over some of her Apple Pie for his birthday celebration!

I think I managed to find several pieces of suitable pie that day. :)
We made it to Taiwan safely...a little culture shocked, but safe.
