Life in Fast Forward

We are definitely living life in fast forward. So many projects, plans, wishes, and still we are not getting everything we would like accomplished. Beth is pretty sure that the month of August didn't even exist. We will try to get you up to date!

New York
Taylor had a great time in NYC with his dad. They had a nice time exploring Times Square, and managed to get in a site-seeing tour while there. One could spend a couple of weeks in NYC to try to see everything they wanted, so this was truly the best option for them. After all, the main reason for the trip was of course the NY Yankees. Woot woot! By the way, is anyone addicted to Woot?

Wednesday game (night): Ouch! We won't relive that score, but it didn't seem possible. Taylor saw some fights breaking out as the scoreboard shuddered that night

Thursday game: They got to see a Yankees victory against the Red Socks (and all was right with the world)

When Taylor returned from NYC, it was a quick prep for 24 Hours of Seven Oaks. The Sixth Annual event (and Taylor's 6th time participating). He participated as a 12-hour solo racer (not so good after several days on the pizza, hot dogs, beer, & pop bonanza from NY). He decided after a good effort, that it was time to kick back, and resorted to the typical shenanigans that can be expected from Kyle S. Those two are quite the duo at events.

Our little girl most notably got her first tooth in this week. She also has progressed to having a veggie as well as her Rice Cereal. First up on the block? Squash! Her Grammie suggested having an Orange Veggie first.....is that why her Mommy always wants the same orange jelly beans that Grammie wants? Hmmmm.......Orange. Interesting :)

Today, Taylor participated in the CyMan Triathlon. We will save that for another blog post....keeping our many readers (haha) on the edge of their seats!

I was wondering what happened to the month of August myself.
